How many Staples are typically needed per acre?

Staples per acre can depend on the number of factors including slope, soil type and what the next step in the process is for ground preparation. In general, we estimate 6000 staples per acre.

What kind of geo-materials does the staple gun work on?

How do you clear a jam?

It is inevitable that you will eventually encounter a rock, root or other foreign object that may cause a jam. To remove the jam:

Remove existing staples from the staple carriage and place the carriage in the rear locked position.

The Wasp has a removable front plate on the staple chamber located at the bottom front of the gun. This plate has a red latch to release the front plate. To access the staple chamber, remove this front plate by pulling the red latch open and remove the staple that is bent or jammed in the chamber. Replace the front plate back into its original position. See our video on removing a jam.
