About staple wasp

Built for Speed. Made to Last.

Since 2015, we’ve been changing the way crews handle erosion control, landscaping, and drip line installs. Manual stapling was slow, brutal on the body, and burned through time and labor. So we fixed it with a tool that drives staples up to 4X faster and lets your crew stay on their feet.

American-Made. Field-Tested.

Every Staple Wasp is made and assembled in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota. It's built from hardened steel and machined aluminum to take a beating and keep going. With full parts replacement, tool-free jam access, and jobsite-ready ergonomics, this gun was made to work, just like you.

A Crew That Gets It

In 2024, David and Mary Fenske joined forces with founder and inventor, Sam Herrmann, to scale production and expand our reach. As a co-owner and the mind behind the Staple Wasp, Sam continues to lead product development, making sure the tool keeps evolving with the crews who count on it.

Real Support. Real People.

Whether you’re ordering your first gun or calling from a job site, we’ve got your back. Questions? We’re just a message or call away, anytime. Reach our team here.

Get it done faster. Get it done right. Run with the Wasp.

Meet the Team

We don’t just sell to this industry, we’ve worked in it, too. The team below is out front helping push Staple Wasp forward, but they’re only part of the story. Behind the scenes, we’ve got a tight-knit crew of plant techs, office staff, and marketing folks who keep production moving, orders flowing, and customers taken care of. It’s a hands-on operation, and we’re proud of the people who make it run.
